Tuesday Update

I have been continuing (for the past couple weeks) to work out every single day, sometimes even twice! Today is week six of our Big Fat Loser Competition at work. I am in 3rd place for weight loss percentage. I have lost a total of 7 pounds so far, which really isn't that great considering it has been 6 weeks! I only recently starting getting serious about it and I am finally seeing some results. There are only 4 weeks left in this competition, I had better step things up or I won't stand a chance.
Here are a few things that have helped me:
*The competition of course, I hate to lose at anything.
*Eating breakfast, usually Special K cereal with Fat Free milk, eating a good lunch and a really small dinner. NO, NO, NO snacks after dinner! I do cheat a little, if there is something I really want, I have it, but only a little bit (only during the day, not at night).
*Working out every day, before 8pm.
*Sleep, sleep, sleep. I would take a nap every day if I could! I have to get in those 8 hours of sleep every night!
*Justin and everyone at work keeping on my case!
I am truley surprised at how well everyone (well, almost everyone) has done at work in this competition. It hasn't been the cake walk that I thought it would be......

If you want to win your weight-loss competition with ease, continue your exercise program but cut your carbohydrate intake to less than 40 calories per day. Drink whole milk rather than fat free milk.

I am seriously so impressed. You have really stuck to the exercising for a long time; that is SO SO SO hard! Great work. You may have only lost 7 lbs., but I'll bet they're not coming back anytime soon and your body is probably just getting into losing mode. You're awesome! Keep up the wonderful work!

Yay for level two! And it kicking my trash! You impress the crap out of me. You're endurance is UNBELIEVABLE! You get past the point of pain and you keep pushing yourself! You are a beautiful girl and you are looking so good! (Not that your weren't fine before!) Keep up the good work! Thanks for trying to help get my fat booty in shape! Love ya!

Krista, I've been losing weight lately as well (I won't say how much because guys usually lose easier than girls and I don't want anyone to get offended). But personally I found that the thermogenics concept is true: keeping your body burning food all day is the best way to lose weight. I do a moderate to intense short workout in the morning and I eat a small meal (barely more than a snack) every 2 to 3 hours. I think I'm actually consuming more than I used to and I'm losing weight.

It takes energy to digest food, and that energy comes from the food you've already digested and stored. What you're digesting right now is going to be used later. So if you keep your body digesting all the time, instead of 3 big meals like we were all taught growing up, then your metabolism is always working at full throttle.

ok first of all krista, you suck because you have lost weight ROFL!!!!! also, seven lbs is alot when you dont have that much to lose to begin with and im sure that you are totally toned up!!! i'll bet you have lost inches! good luck!!!!!! you go girl!
