Truck and Boat

We bought a little truck to take camping. Our old brown beast, although it never left us stranded, cost a fortune to take anywhere. So we bought this Toyota Pickup.
Justin has been going fishing quite a bit lately. He decided that he likes trolling better than fishing from the bank. He found this little boat for a really great price. It is only a fishing boat though :( Maybe someday we will get a ski boat. But, until we can pay cash for it...this will have to do!

Camping The Spruces

Our most recent camping trip was to the Spruces.....It is absolutely gorgeous up there! One of my favorite camping trips so far! (I guess that could be because they have running water and bathrooms.)
Views from our campsite

Our heavy duty Springbar Tent pole broke! Good thing we weren't too far away to go into town and get a new one (and spare).

Our tent.
We hiked up to donut falls. Kenlee hated it with a passion. This little girl is our friend, Brandon's neice and she was adorable. I probably would adopt her :)
A hummingbird got trapped in our tent. Justin caught it and set it free. I have never seen one this still. It was so pretty!

Then we did a little fishing at Silver Lake.

Inspiration

I was just introduced to this lady by my friend Crystal. She is quite amazing and very inspirational. Check her out at: http://www.megjohnsonspeaks.com/

Saying "Sorry"

Apologizing....
Never say "I'm sorry, but....". Either you are sorry or you're not, no "but" anything....that cancels the whole apology.

Here are some quotes I found that are by people that are much better than I am at expressing themselves.

“Sincere forgiveness isn't colored with expectations that the other person apologize or change. Don't worry whether or not they finally understand you. Love them and release them. Life feeds back truth to people in its own way and time.” Sara Paddison

"Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future"~Paul Boese

“A stiff apology is a second insult…. The injured party does not want to be compensated because he has been wronged; he wants to be healed because he has been hurt.”~ Gilbert Keith Chesterton

"An apology is the superglue of life. It can repair just about anything." Lynn Johnston

"It will never do to plead sin as an excuse for sin, or to attempt to justify sinful acts by pleading that we have an evil heart. This instead of being a valid apology, is the very ground of our condemnation." Archibald Alexander
