On Monday I started a new diet/exercise plan. I decided that what I did last time worked, so I will try it again. Here's my plan....
Do at least 30 minutes of intense exercise a day and eat around 1500 calories a day.
That's it! It's simple and I know it works.
Last year, in January, I participated in a "Biggest Loser" type weight loss competition with my co-workers that lasted 12 weeks. My starting weight was 147 pounds (which was about 5 pounds less than what I weighed a year before). It felt horrible and disgusting. There's something about getting on a scale in front of other people that makes you have to "face the fat". It was great to be surrounded by other people that were involved, it helped to push me to do better. By the end of the competition my weight was 134, I lost only 13 pounds or 8.8% percent. I continued exercising and trying to eat right.
By September, I weighed 129. I decided to do another little competition with only one co-worker. I couldn't seem to lose that last little bit of weight by myself. I needed the competition/motivation to push me. It worked and by the end of October, I weighed 122 pounds......I haven't weighed that for probably 6 or 7 years. I had lost 25 pounds total!!!!

This is my before and after photo. (How embarrassing is that!)
Then December came......I GAINED 6 POUNDS in one month. Granted, I didn't exercise and I ate everything in sight.
Now its time to start again. My goal is to be 115 pounds (my ultimate goal) by Feb. 26th.
My starting weight (this morning) is 126 pounds. I have a little over 6 weeks to do it in. I know I can do it, but having a support system and lots of encouragement is absolutely necessary to reach your goal.
p.s. I am horrified that I have listed my weight on here. I just felt like doing that would make me more accountable and help me to succeed. I am already regretting it.

Krista!!!! You're making me feel so much better! I am starting out where you started out (now I've posted it too! Ah!) and I know I can do it! I've been too scared to work out so far, cause of my c-section, but I think it's time! P90X here I come!!! We'll need to talk a lot and keep motivated together! Someday I'll get back to 115 lbs too!
You look amazing-one hot mamma! Way to go. I wish I had your mental drive to eat right and exercise! Best of luck to you. I will skip your house when handing out goodies:)
If you lose any more weight you are going to blow away with the wind. Seriously! You look AWESOME right now and I think you're crazy to try to lose more. I'm just sayin'.
P.S. I want to be as in-control as you are when I grow up!
Good luck! Sounds like if you put your mind to it you'll be just fine. I wish I was as disciplined as you are when it comes to losing weight, you're looking great!
