Halloween 2012
October flew by and it was super busy! Justin went to Vegas for some training classes for work and barely made it back in time to be with us for Halloween.
Kenlee dressed up as a Vampire Bride this year!
There was another little vampire right across the street. I love this boy!
Kenlee's pumpkins...she did them completely by herself! She is getting pretty good at them too!

Happy Birthday Justin!!
Happy 37th Birthday to Justin! I know he's not terribly excited to have this birthday but it beats 40 right?
He got a surprise yesterday when the guy that took him to the World Series last year in St. Louis told him that the tickets for this year have been purchased! The Cardinals haven't even made it yet! The tickets are for section 144 and row 9....right behind the Cardinals dugout (definitely not the cheap seats)!!! He's is so excited and I can't believe how lucky he is to be spoiled like that....he totally deserves it though.
THis is him last year at the game:
Go Cardinals!!

Happy 14th Birthday Kenlee!!
October 1, 2012 was Kenlee's 14th birthday! We had a family celebration A week or so ago in Bountiful. On Saturday, we had the traditional birthday dinner at Joe's Crab Shack, her favorite. On her actual birthday we had cupcakes and presents with just the three of us. I can't believe how time flies and how much she has changed and grown in the past year!

A Hard Working Man's Hands
Justin has had some unfortunate accidents involving his hands recently. He works so hard for us and puts his body through hell to bring home the bacon. Last night he came home with a new injury and thick chunk of skin that is no longer attached to his hand. OUCH!! I know he is in pain today as he tries to get along at work and not let anybody down. He is amazing!
Here are the stitches he got this summer:
This is last night no more than 2 seconds after he took pressure off it, shortly after the picture blood was everywhere. No stitches for this one. The picture doesn't do it justice, it is pretty deep.

New Kitty
Did you know we got a new kitty? We picked her up on our anniversary, May 5th. She was in a box in front of Smith's and was the last to go. I don't know why, she is the cutest little kitten on the planet! She does however, have a curl in the end of her tail (like a pig) and she came with a hernia. Since we got her we have taken her in and had that fixed. Here are some super cute pics of her:

Breaking up with Facebook
I am breaking free of Facebook! It is going to be the hardest thing ever....I swear I check it 100 times a day, on my phone and on my computer. I just can't do it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that I can keep up with everything that is going on with my family clear across the country but, I just can't take the day to day ramblings and rants from my "friends" and my need to participate in them.
I am going to start writing and posting here again. Please check in from time to time for updates on our life!

Christmas 2011
This past Christmas was the best that I can rememeber having in such a long time. The joy, love, laughter we had with my parents was refreshing and so welcomed. We were all spoiled, of course. There is nothing like giving a gift to someone who you know really, truely appreciates it. I only wish they lived close enough to spend every Christmas with them. It would also be nice to get to see my other family around the holidays, I miss them so much!
Pictures will be posted as soon as I get them off my camera.
